Hanalei Bay Hot Spots
One of my family’s absolute favorite places is Hanalei Bay on the North Shore of Kauai and often the best spots aren’t the 5 star restaurants, but family owned trucks and little shops, so here are our favorites.
This coffee, açaí, and surf rental shop stands out as some of the best drinks served in these custom glass mason jars that you can take to go. A must hit spot if you love Chai, Matcha, or any caffeinated beverage.
A “farm to beach” food truck, my favorite food truck of all time. The Okinawan Sweet Potato fries are a MUST order. (pictured is my favorite salad the “Kauaian” with chicken and avocado)
The original Taro donuts— EVERY flavor is good. In the same truck lot as Fresh Bite it is a perfect spot to grab a box and split with your friends. The coffee is also a 10/10
On the cliffs above the bay in a hidden parking lot is the best Eggs Benedict you have ever had. Truly you have never had an eggs benny like this, if you want a hearty breakfast after a morning swim, this is it.
Dolphin Fish market
The Dolphin has two restaurants but their hidden gem is the fish market sushi. You can get incredible fresh made rolls and poke to bring back as the perfect happy hour snack or addition to a BBQ.
