My Favorite Oat Balls

Easy Oatballs

My favorite breakfast on the go, snack, or even dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 2.5 cups rolled oats (or quick oats)

  • 2 bananas

  • 1/2 cup of almond butter (sub peanut or cashew butter for a more creamy flavor)

  • 1/2 cup hemp seeds

  • 1/4 cup ground flax seed

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • Optional 1-2 tablespoons of liquid sweetener depending on how sweet your bananas are or how sweet you like your oats (I used date syrup)

  • Optional 1/3 cup chocolate chips

Recipe:

Mash the bananas with the back of a fork, until it is a smooth mash. With an electric mixer, combine with almond butter, flax seed, hemp seeds, vanilla and cinnamon.

Add oats and taste. Add sweetener if you like, and/or chocolate chips!

After throughly mixed, form balls (whatever size you like). Refrigerate for about an hour (to set) and eat!

Make sure to store in the refrigerator.
